Grading
I will put grades in Powerschool as quickly as possible. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have grading questions.
Grades are weighted (but this does not show in Powerschool):
Tests 65%
Quizzes 20%
Daily Grades/Homework 15%
Grading
Test Policy: Tests will have multiple choice and free response questions. Students should rely on the book and notes for studying purposes, but I will offer study guides, tutoring, websites, and study tips as needed.
Missed tests should be made up as soon as possible in Tribe Time or after school. I will make arrangements with students.
Quiz Policy: Missed quizzes are not made up and do not count against the student. An "exempt" will be put in Powerschool for missed quizzes. Students who do not miss a quiz can have the lowest quiz grade dropped at the end of the semester. This "drop" does not make a large difference in a student's grade but can make a percentage point difference.
